Another victory over coal is being celebrated in the Pacific Northwest right now as a recent Oregonian headline reads "Another Northwest coal export project falls by wayside; Kinder Morgan drops Oregon terminal plan." Now three out of six coal export proposals have been defeated, three still remain; two in Washington, one in Oregon as of 5/13/13. Three down, three to go. Active and concerned citizens here have made it clear WE DON'T WANT IT HERE. A victory for our clean and pristine Oregon environment this represents a win for clean air, clean water, and a much more healthier future in my home of Portland, Oregon.
